According to N.T.Information: In 2017, the global PCB market output value reached 70.5 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, the total output value of enterprises with an annual output value of more than 100 million US dollars is 58.266 billion US dollars, accounting for more than 80%. In 2018, the global PCB output value was approximately 74.5 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, the total output value of enterprises with an output value of more than 100 million U.S. dollars is 62.061 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for more than 80%. In 2019, the total global PCB output value was 74.36 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, the total output value of enterprises with an annual output value of more than 100 million US dollars is 62.317 billion US dollars, accounting for more than 80%.
In 2017, there were 115 companies with an annual output value of more than US$100 million, of which 46 were mainland companies, and these 46 mainland companies accounted for 22.1% of the total global output value. In 2018, there were 117 companies with an annual output value of more than 100 million US dollars, of which 47 mainland companies accounted for 24.8%. These 47 mainland companies accounted for 24.8% of the total global output value. In 2019, there were 122 companies with an annual output value of more than US$100 million, of which 52 mainland companies accounted for 27.1%. These 46 mainland companies accounted for 27.1% of the total global output value.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, the PCB industry has been shifting its focus to Asia, with the mainland China growing significantly. From the above analysis, it can be seen that the proportion of China’s PCB in the world is increasing year by year, and the global production capacity is concentrated in China.
